AccuVision EyeCare Optometry

AccuVision EyeCare Optometry began in 2011 when Richard John Michelsen and Viyada Joy Michelsen purchased a small optometry practice in downtown Livermore. What started as a modest office operating just three days per week with one doctor and one employee gradually grew through a commitment to exceptional patient care, modern technology, and strong community relationships. Over the years, AccuVision expanded into a full-time practice with multiple doctors and a larger team, while remaining focused on its core purpose: changing lives through better vision.

Foresight Optometry

Foresight Optometry was established by Dr. John and Dr. Joy Michelsen as an extension of the same vision and values that helped grow AccuVision. Located in Concord, Foresight was created to bring a modern, technology-driven, patient-centered approach to eye care to the local community. The practice combines advanced diagnostic equipment with personalized service, focusing on helping patients see better, protect their eye health, and improve their quality of life. Like AccuVision, Foresight's purpose is rooted in the belief that improving vision can create meaningful and lasting positive change in people's lives.
